For those: Who have spent most of our adult lives
as a married couple, or single person.
Now we are alone, at a point in our lives
where friendship is very important.
Purpose: We have formed a social group to share our interests,
and learning how to handle those things our spouse or
friends did best for us, and gain a social relationship
with others in a faith based group.
We have fears of being alone at certain times. During
illness, accidents, weekends, and holidays. We may or
may not have relatives coming in and out of our lives, but
we do not have someone who can be there for us each and
every day.
Therefore, our purpose is to provide friendships and
relationships to bridge the gap left by our partner.
Activities: We provide regular meeting locations to share ideas and to
socialize. We arrange dinning parties, luncheons, trips, and
plays or theatre trips. Your input will be how we set up and
share these activities.
What we are not:
We are not a singles group.
We are not a place to tell everyone our problems.
We are not a place to air our complaints about life.
We are not a bereavement group. Nor a therapy session.
When: The first Tuesday of each month. Call Art (number above) for time and place.
